Hi! I'm Andrew
I am a film industry proefssional from Vancouver, BC, Canada.
I went to post-secondary at Simon Fraser University, studying in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology finishing in 2019. My concentration was in Design and Interactive Systems.
I love video games and video game creation - I used to work as a Steam Workshop Community Creator, making addons and mods for Half-Life 2 in my spare time. Learning how to make video game addons has allowed me to gain years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, creating FPS animations & rigging models in 3DS Max, making logos and HUD icons in Illustrator, painting model textures in Substance Painter, and coding in various scripting languages such as C++ and Lua.
In 2013, I had the amazing opportunity to join the film industry, so I dove into it head first. I started as a background actor, and eventually moved into the department of set decorating. Over a decade in the film industry has afforded me extensive collaboration with construction and electrical departments. Proficient in operating various power tools and machinery, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and counterbalance forklifts, I've successfully orchestrated the setup of entire warehouses for multimillion-dollar productions. My responsibilities have included meticulous inventory management, prop oversight, and ensuring continuity for film and television projects.
After 10 years of working in the film industry, I have decided to move forward with my career into wherever life leads me next.
You will often find me playing tennis with friends on the weekends.
